Our Residential Program provides supported living arrangements and intensive training in personal, social, community living, and basic life skills. The focus of training is intended to enable the individual to reach his/her maximum potential which would allow movement to the most independent setting.
The agency’s residential program operates six (6) group homes serving 46 people. All homes are staffed with a house manager and multiple direct care staff providing necessary assistance 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
All individuals in the residential program attend a Day Habilitation program at either the Vaughn Blumberg Center or the John Conti Center. In addition, individuals participate in various other activities.
The Dothan Leisure Services provides bowling, tennis, swimming, cooking classes, softball teams, and camp twice a year. Many of our individuals play softball at Miracle Field at Westgate Park. Other activities include shopping, dining at local restaurants, picnics, attending movies, visits to parks, ball games, and attending church.
All of the Residential Group Homes provide an active and meaningful life to the individuals served.
